Scrappy defeat ends run of wins

A horrible game which we deserved nothing out of and got exactly what we deserved. We had a lot of chances early on but wasted them all. St. Mary's got a hold of the game after taking the first chance they created. A sloppy goal to concede and that gave the away team the confidence to take control of the game.

Balally spent most of the second half defending and struggled to play football as the pitch deteriorated. Mary's created 4 or 5 great chances, some of which Marty save and the rest were squandered. None worse than a gaping open goal which was turned wide.

It was a poor performance and so unlike our recent run of 4 wins in row. Hopefully it's just a blip and we can battle our way back up the table. The hard work starts here!
