1st Friendly of the New Season

The first friendly of the new season ended in disappointment however there were plenty of positives to take from this game. We've had an influx of new players and a few ex players returning to bolster an already strong squad.

Balally started quickly and dominated most of the opening half but couldn't capitalise on the chances created. The only goal of the game came during Spartak's brief spell in the middle of the first half. A shot from distance caught a wicked bounce and slipped past Marty.

The second half was more of the same with both teams creating chances but nothing much of note. Balally made a lot of substitutions giving everyone a run out which broke up the game.

One nil it finished. Plenty to build on, onwards and upwards from here.
